Inspiring Young Gardeners Live Virtual Training for Early Childhood Educators

Early childhood educators are invited to Inspiring Young Gardeners: Cultivating Curiosity About Pollinators and Plants, a virtual training designed to spark a love of gardening and nature in young learners. This interactive session offers practical ideas for engaging children in planting, observing nature, and caring for gardens, while also exploring the essential role of pollinators in our ecosystem. Participants will receive ready-to-use resources, age-appropriate activities, a free gardening- or pollinator-themed children’s book, and two Ohio Approved/Step Up To Quality contact hours. For details, contact Laural Kirchner, WBGU-PBS Coordinator of Education, at kirchnl@bgsu.edu.
