Wood County Fair - Fair Tour 2006

Preview the 5th fair on our Fair Tour 2006, the Wood County Fair in Bowling Green, Ohio. The fair will last until Monday the 7th of August and there are plenty of events to see! Cathy Pratt and Linda Dobb (Executive Vice President of BGSU) narrate our "walking tour" that was featured Thursday - despite the roar of the tractors. During this preview you'll hear about some of the events to look forward to and what it takes to assemble the fair by Martin Walters (President of Wood County Agricultural Society); what it takes to be the fair queen; the shopping benefits of Wood county from Jim Carter (Wood County Commissioner) in addition to learning about the Wood County Economic Development Corporation. You'll also witness interviews with Eric Larsen (Emergency Management) on how they prepare for anything at the fair, and finally Jayne Roth (4-H Extension Educator) about what draws 2,000 children to participate in the fair. The weather looks nice for this weekend and the cheerleader's will be cheering (Saturday)- so check out the fair in Wood County and have fun!
