In June of 2008, WBGU-PBS hosted the first ever "Legacy of Hope: Celebration of Survival." The event was hosted at The Tucker Center for Telecommunications in Bowling Green, Ohio and featured many activities such as cancer tips and information, free food, entertainment and great prizes.

Also, cancer survivors, caregivers, families, and friends were invited to share their stories through a series of personal questions. These are those victims and their real Survivor Stories.

View By Question:

"How did you feel when you heard the cancer diagnosis and where did you first turn for help?"
"What was the biggest obstacle you faced and how did you overcome it?"
"One inspiring and hopeful message for someone recently diagnosed with cancer."
"What have you learned from your cancer experience?"
"How did others around you react?"
